For the 25th time, prominent individuals from around the world will come together at the invitation of founder Liz Mohn and former Austrian Chancellor Wolfgang Schüssel to discuss some of the key issues of our time. The Trilogue Salzburg 2026 will focus on the importance of leadership in times of great uncertainty. Perspectives from business, politics, and culture will offer an interdisciplinary view of the challenges facing leaders today. Over the years, the Trilogue Salzburg’s commitment to open exchange on values and principles has helped establish it as a distinctive international forum for dialogue.
Today’s decision-makers face the challenge of retaining their ability to act amid international crises, domestic political polarization, and declining trust in institutions. At the same time, they must develop long-term perspectives and make decisions that will stand the test of time.
Against this backdrop, the 25th Trilogue Salzburg will explore different dimensions of contemporary leadership. At its heart is the question of what constitutes good and responsible leadership today: What skills are needed to actively shape change, bring together different perspectives, and make sound decisions under complex conditions? The discussion will focus not only on leadership responsibilities and decision-making processes, but also on the mindset that underpins them: a sense of responsibility, a willingness to provide direction, and the ability to build trust.
