Zeitenwende on Tour

How do young people experience international crises and wars? How do the latter impact the sense of security young people have in their daily lives? The Liz Mohn Foundation seeks answers to these questions by hosting a Townhall Meeting together with the Munich Security Conference and leading figures from politics and society.

Zeitenwende on Tour (Historical Turning Point on Tour) allows students from different schools in Gütersloh to know that they and their thoughts on global affairs are being heard and taken seriously. Organized by the Munich Security Conference, the event series has been held throughout Germany since 2023. Only in Gütersloh, however, where the Townhall Meeting is organized in cooperation with the Liz Mohn Foundation, is the audience for the event comprised solely of young people. Following the first successful meeting at the Gütersloh Stadthalle in 2023, the summer 2024 gathering will take place at the Bertelsmann Stiftung.
