Future Leadership Training 2025 – Module 2

What does responsible leadership look like in an increasingly complex world? This was the question addressed in the second module of the Liz Mohn Foundation’s Future Leadership Training program. Fifteen leaders from business, politics, and culture came together to reflect on key issues for the future and their own leadership roles.
Traditionally, this module takes place at the organization of one of the participating executives – this year, the BMW Group in Munich opened its doors to the participants.
Generation Global – We shape world

No one will feel the consequences of current political decisions as strongly as the younger generation. However, young people’s views are rarely heard in public debates. Support programs for those interested in politics are often only offered to adults. For this reason, the Liz Mohn Foundation launched ‘Generation Global – We Shape the World’ to […]
Germany’s Role in the World

Political decision-makers seek answers to key questions about social and foreign policy challenges in public debate. While they make landmark decisions and establish facts, young people have little say—even though they are the ones who will feel the consequences of current decisions most acutely in their lives. The Liz Mohn Foundation wants the voices of these children and young people to be heard in current debates and therefore surveys them once a year on social and foreign policy issues. The quantitative survey results are supplemented by comments from young people. The aim is to make the voices of young people more visible in public and in debates.
VONEINANDER LERNEN

The pilot project “Voneinander Lernen!” by the Liz Mohn Foundation focuses on the digital professional development of teachers through mentoring. The direct exchange between experienced educators and young digital experts is the main focus.
Growing together. Working together.

“Growing together. Working together.” is a project by the Evangelisches Klinikum Bethel (EvKB), sponsored by the Liz Mohn Foundation. It is aimed at children and young people who are significantly affected by loneliness.
Generation Global Live

Young people want to be taken seriously in political debates. They have opinions, questions, and often a keen interest in current discussions and political decision-making processes. How do young people experience international crises and current controversies? The Liz Mohn Foundation provides students and high-ranking representatives from politics and society with a platform for open dialogue on equal footing as part of the annual “Generation Global LIVE” conference.
CREATING LEADERSHIP CULTURES

With Creating Leadership Cultures, the Liz Mohn Foundation is actively shaping the transformation of leadership in a rapidly changing world. In the area of Creating Leadership Cultures, current leadership trends and their social significance are identified and ideas are generated on how leadership in politics, business, and culture can be made sustainable for the future.
For this purpose, the Liz Mohn Foundation develops innovative event formats, evidence-based studies, and practical training courses, promotes exchange between decision-makers from business, politics, and culture, and brings them together in expert panels with thought leaders from academia and practice. In this way, the Liz Mohn Foundation strengthens the creative competence of leaders and opens up new perspectives for responsible leadership in the 21st century.
